AMTD offer 2 free First Aid places on any of their monthly courses.
Pat Scott, the Training Director, explained that both her and the MD Alison have always wanted to be able to support individuals who may not be in a position to pay the costs of an accredited first aid course. In our tenth year of business we are excited to be able to offer some free first aid places.
Pat and Alison feel that this offer would be suitable for perhaps a young person who may need to boost their CV, anyone unemployed who wants an accredited qualification or anyone doing voluntary work who would benefit from learning first aid skills .
You will be trained by Pat Scott who is a qualified teacher and will ensure you have all the support you need to be successfull. You will receive a full colour first aid manual, a certificate, a plastic wallet sized ID card and a face shield on a key ring. In addition we will provide all your refreshments and a sandwich lunch.
There are no entry requirements for either the 1 day or 3 day courses apart from basic communication and literacy skills but you will need to be able to deliver CPR at floor level and participate in some role play learning activities.
Assessment is carried out by oral questioning, practical assessments and a short multiple choice exams.
If you or anyone you know thinks that you would benefit from a free place on one of our monthly courses please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 07915609788.
